The Quezon Circle model was built to test alignment and control options for a
proposed Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) scheme in Manila, Philippines.
The flexibility and adaptability of the software allowed a realistic model of the 10-lane
wide gyratory system to be developed, some 2km in circumference. The option
models allowed the testing of various signal control options to prioritise the rapid
transit vehicles where the bus-way crossed the main circulating carriageway.
